Michael B. Jordan didn’t have an issue with rumors that he was dating Kendall Jenner — he had an issue with people’s racist remarks.
“It’s the world we live in,” the October cover model told GQ magazine. “They see white and black. I don’t. A lot of black fans were feeling like, ‘Oh, my God, he should have been with a black woman’ and that whole thing,” the Fantastic Four star said. “I get it, but on the other hand it’s, like, relax. You know – it’s 2015. It’s okay! People can like one another, not necessarily from the same history or culture or whatever the f— it is.”
For the record, Jordan, who was linked to the rising model after they left a Met Gala afterparty together this past May, clarified they’re just friends.
“Kendall’s a friend of mine, you know. I don’t know her, like, that well, but I know her enough,” he added. “People’s perspective on that is what it is.”

As for his own perspective, when it comes to dating, Jordan’s not ready to settle down anytime soon.
“I try and be focused. I told myself at a young age that I would sacrifice all my twenties to my work,” Jordan explained. “I’m 28. I’ve got a year and a half left. I understand what females want and need, you know. I’m good at that. I don’t know if I’m the guy to give it to them right now. I’m emotionally unavailable. Until I find something that’s so undeniable that I can’t help myself.”
